Fang - Rampant Rodent Report

Janet Fang (yes, the name is right) of the BBC reports that a Global Warming future will likely be teeming with mice. The study, published today in Nature1, emphasizes that concentrating solely on eye-catching species extinctions fails to capture the full impact of climate change on biodiversity. "If we focus only on extinction, we're not getting the whole story," says Blois. The work also suggests that rapidly reproducing, adaptable species — such as the deer mice — could benefit further from future warming.

The loss of bio-diversity is the latest of the scare campaigns and follows losing malaria as a  Warming catastrophe contender with the publication of a new paper discrediting it! A compendium of the reported  bad effects of global warming is at NumberWatch which includes everything from shrinking brains to the Dartford warbler plague and the reduction of human fertility.
The continuing flood of grant money to any project mentioning Global Warming or Climate Change ,the son of Global Warming, will ensure a  proliferation of this type of report in the future.
