ROFL -"Wealthy" Europe wants to pour billions into Green Climate Fund!

The European Union in the alternative universe they inhabit have suddenly found billions for a Green Climate Fund and are looking for more suckers concerned countries to join them. The real universe , where most of the debt-ridden EU countries don't have a pot to piss in, is completely ignored by the EU bureaucracy where their favorite ideology is concerned. It is no wonder the Union is in such desperate financial straits and it is laughable that they criticise Greece for the crime of spending money it didn't have. It seems that no lessons have been learned!

Europe is taking a hardline stance on global warming at the latest round of UN climate talks.
At this week's UN climate change conference in Durban, South Africa, the European Union said it wanted the board of the Green Climate Fund to start working as early as next year.
The Green Climate Fund is a multibillion-dollar global fund designed to assist developing nations and vulnerable countries cope with the impact of climate change.
"In the context of a satisfactory outcome on the Green Climate Fund, as well as the overall package from Durban, we want to see the board start as early as 2012," said Tomasz Chruszczow, the chief climate negotiator for the EU and Poland.
Countries initially agreed to develop the fund at the 2010 climate change talks in Cancun, Mexico.
Europe's hardline stance has already triggered concern among developing countries at the Durban talks and the conflict threatens the future of the Kyoto Protocol - the only international treaty stipulating cuts to carbon emissions.
And there is more:
The EU has found another $80 billion to blow on Global Warming "research" and other useless green projects  but not to repay bank loans !

Around a third of the new €80bn EU research and innovation fund will go towards climate-related work, including clean energy, greener transport, climate action and sustainable agriculture.
The Horizon 2020 package brings together all EU research and innovation funding under a single programme, in a move designed to cut red tape and reduce the time for applications to receive funding by an average of 100 days.
Around €25bn is set to be reserved for climate-related research and at least €48bn will be channelled towards sustainable development as part of the programme, which runs from 2014 to 2020.
EU Climate Commissioner Connie Hedegaard talked up the fund's potential to create green jobs and support innovation across the bloc.
Full steam ahead and stuff the creditors!

  1. sponge to gently remove dirt and grime. You may find toothbrushes help reach wicker corners and stalls easier. For hardwoods such as teak or redwoods, there are a lot of commercial cleaning products designed to clean and protect but avoid teakwood oil as it can encourage mold.
